How to Use the National Treatment Cost Estimator

It's important that you carry out steps one through three before beginning. You can refer back to these instructions at any time after you get started. Or, you can print this page as a handy reference.

The National Treatment Cost Estimator is located on the national Blue Cross Blue Shield Association's website. Just visit the BlueCard® Doctor & Hospital Finder tool—the link at the bottom of this page will take you to the BlueCard Doctor & Hospital Finder.

Once at the BlueCard Doctor & Hospital Finder start page, these three easy steps will take you to the Cost Estimator. Step One Using your member ID card, locate your member ID number and the letters preceding it. In the space provided, enter only the letters, then click the Find Providers button.

Step Two You don't need to complete the online form, just Click on the Review Cost Information link.

Step Three To continue, just read the disclaimer page, then click on the Accept button. You are now on the start page for the Treatment Cost Estimator.
